Gail Kingsbury

Hello, I'm Gail Kingsbury, co-founder and CEO of United Tiny Homes. When I think about America's 250th birthday, I think about what freedom has made possible, and for me, it's home. A home is where families grow, where dreams begin, where veterans return, and where children feel safe, where entrepreneurs launch businesses around the kitchen table, and that belief is deeply personal to me.

My great-grandfather and grandfather both immigrated to this country with hope, determination, and freedom to build businesses and a better life for our family. They embraced the opportunities America offered, and I'm honored to continue that legacy.

Today, I lead a company that builds innovative, attainable homes, and I see every day how deeply housing shapes opportunity, stability, and dignity. For too many Americans, the dream of having a place to call home feels farther away than it should.

I believe one of the great challenges, and maybe the greatest opportunities of our generation, is finding new ways to make housing attainable for more families. That'll require builders, manufacturers, investors, communities, government, business leaders, all to come together to create a truly united housing solution.

America's always been a nation of builders, not just of homes and businesses, but of hope. For 250 years, our freedom has inspired people to dream boldly, work hard, innovate, and build a better future for the generations that follow.

And I'm proud that my family's story is part of America's story, and grateful to spend my life helping build the next chapter, one home, one family, and one community at a time. It's our honor to participate in Freedom 250.
