Privacy Policy
Last updated June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Voices of 250 (the "Project") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the Freedom 250 website (freedom250.org or voicesof250.com) and submit a message for the Freedom 250 celebration.
Information we collect
When you sign up, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, job title, and (optionally) phone number. To protect the form from abuse we also record technical data such as your IP address, approximate location, and browser type.
How we use it
We use your information to verify your email, let you record and publish your message, prevent fraud and abuse, and operate and improve the Project. Your recorded video, name, title, and company may be published and made shareable as part of the public collection of voices.
Sharing with sponsors (your choice)
Some partners offer optional benefits. If, and only if, you choose to accept a sponsor's offer, we share the contact details you submitted (name, work email, company, and title) with that sponsor so they can fulfill it. Partners you do not select receive nothing. Each sponsor's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy, which is linked next to its offer.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Project, including providers for website hosting and security, email delivery, and video recording and playback. They process information only to provide their services on our behalf. Video recording and playback is handled by Emovid under its own privacy and cookie policies.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Retention
We keep submission information for as long as needed to operate the Project and as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Children
The Project is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16.
