Congratulations America, you are 250 years old. But here's another dimension I want you to celebrate. The number alone is not the story, but the decision underneath it is. Resilience is named after outcome, but think, back then, no one knew about the outcome. Nobody did.

For the past year, I've carried one word across this country, unquit. Unquit. In room after room, the same thing struck me. Unquit is not something I brought in, it already was there. Fascinating. It is in the DNA of every person I meet.

Unquit is more than motivation. Motivation fades before you leave the room or by the morning, but unquit does not fade, it does not leave. I'm not asking you just to feel proud, I'm asking you to go beyond and recognize something, something huge. The strength that carried this country for 250 years lives inside you.

You have fallen over and over again, but you stood back up every time and you have the evidence that proves for all evidence. Remember three phrases. First one, I am. There is more within us than we can see. Number two, I can. We can continue, we will, we'll evolve and grow. And finally, I will. We will continue becoming who we were meant to be.

I am, I can, I will. That's the core of our freedom. Our freedom survived not because we never quit, but because we remembered that we were never quitters to begin with. America is an unquitter and so are you.
